The Romantic Botanicals Collection
Shown here, the invitation collection features a variety of sizes, with descriptors on the thumbs so that it can be stacked for a stair effect and loosely bound by a natural colored jute cord before being inserted into an A7 (5-½ x 7-½) sized envelope. The RSVP card is actually a perforated postcard that shares the top half of the 5 x 7 card with guest information (accommodations, directions and a hand-drawn digital map).
This set is printed on 90-lb linen card stock in the color Baronial Ivory. Three things set this paper above the rest. First, it’s feel. When your fingers glide across the paper, it is as if you are touching a delicate woven cloth. Secondly, is it’s durability. It absorbs inks beautifully and cuts cleanly. And finally, it’s also eco-friendly (see tab for specifications). Added to the rustic charm is the kraft-style envelope featuring a lovely vellum finish.

The Shadeflower Process
Working with a custom designer is different than just selecting a design and ordering it. In fact, it’s a lot more fun! Even if you select a pre-designed invitation, there are so many options you can do to make it unique to you and your soon-to-be.
Shadeflower Designs knows the importance of this special time and does not take lightly your decision in selecting us to design your wedding stationery. It is a great honor to serve you and to be part of this most unique moment of your lives. Step 1: Select and purchase a Wedding Stationery Design Package
Step 2: You will be directed to a Discovery Form to help us get to know you better.
Step 3: You will be contacted by lead designer, Melissa Hickman, who will walk you through the entire process. If you live in Minneapolis / Saint Paul, you can meet face-to-face at no additional charge.
Step 4: Depending on the package you choose, you will be provided with a design comp, at which time you can iron out details of the design. And don’t hold back – be as specific as possible to ensure you get exactly what you want! We don’t want you to just be satisfied with the end result. We want you to LOVE it!
Step 5: Proofing stage. This is the moment we work out and firm up the tiny details and check over spelling and grammar, color tones, etc.
Step 6: You receive a final proof. If it looks good to go, it’s off to the printers. If not, we’ll make the corrections necessary and follow up with another proof.
Step 7: Print and assembly. By now, you should send over your guest addresses (if we are printing those).
Step 8: Stuff, stamp, seal and send! And then get to work on the other stationery pieces, per your package choice.

Planning a wedding is a lot of work. That’s why Shadeflower wants to make life a little easier on you by offering several add-on services. Because the less you have to worry about – the more fun you can have!
Envelope Printing
(available in most sizes and formats):
- For just return address printing: $0.20 per envelope
- To print both return address and guest addresses : $0.35 per envelope
Stuff, Stamp, Seal & Send
For the ultimate timesaver, let Shadeflower stuff (and line, if applicable) your envelopes, adhere stamps (including response pieces), seal and send. We’ll even pick up the stamps for you! Just $0.55 per invitation. Cost of postage not included.
Labels
Alternatively, return address labels are available in a variety of shapes, colors, finishes and sizes. Our standard line of labels are sold by the sheet for $1.49 and include Envelope Wraps (10 p/sheet) and Mint Tin Labels (15 p/sheet). For other options, please contact us for a quote. Guest addresses may be printed on labels for an additional fee of $0.15 per address.
